FAQ

What to know before choosing

When should I choose a low-bed semi-trailer?

When the height of the load would make a conventional machine transporter exceed the permitted transport height. The low bed provides a lower loading deck, so tall machines can be transported with a lower overall height.

What is a detachable gooseneck good for?

Once the gooseneck is detached, the machine can drive onto the low bed from the front without a ramp. This is a feature of the MAX510 and is particularly useful for crawler machines and machines with low ground clearance.

What is the difference between the MAX510 and the MAX710?

The MAX510 with 2–3 axle running gear is designed for medium loads; the MAX710, with a removable 2–3 axle front bogie and a 4–5 axle rear bogie, has 6–8 axles in total for heavy loads.
