Which semi-trailer or body do you need to operate?
Truck hydraulics start from the task: a single-circuit system for tippers, a high-delivery pump for moving floors, a dual-pressure control block for both, and a weight-reduced dual-circuit system for fuel discharge. The PTO is always determined by the gearbox type.

Moving floor hydraulic system
For fast discharge of Cargofloor semi-trailers
A tractor-mounted system for Cargofloor moving floor semi-trailers (Knapen, Stas, Schwarzmüller, Kraker, Peischl). The 170-litre aluminium tank with a low filler cap and the 125-litre Interpump gear pump ensure fast discharge; the set-up is based on the experience of several hundred moving floor systems built in the PFS workshop.

Dual-pressure control block: 175 / 250 bar
One tractor unit can pull both a tipping and a moving floor semi-trailer. The tank-mounted dual-pressure Interpump control block handles both operating modes, and the 125-litre pump delivers enough flow for tipping as well as moving floor discharge.

Dual-circuit hydraulics for a tractor unit pulling a fuel tanker semi-trailer, put together for the lowest possible tare weight: a 60-litre aluminium tank and a compact Interpump axial piston pump drive the semi-trailer’s discharge pump.

BPM, BLH gear pumps and FOX / FOX LIGHT piston series
Bi-rotational (two-way) cast iron gear pumps for tippers and moving floors, and uni-directional axial piston pumps for higher pressure or lower weight. All of them can be mounted directly on the PTO and are supplied with the fittings and seals needed for installation.

Based on the gearbox type and the semi-trailer, we will tell you which PTO and which system fit, and how long installation takes.
One manufacturer, from PTO to cylinder
Interpump Hydraulics manufactures PTOs, pumps, cylinders and valves for commercial vehicles; the group also includes the oil tank manufacturer Padoan and the cylinder manufacturer HS Penta. The main components of the system therefore fit together.
PTOs for every main gearbox family
For ZF (TraXon, AS-Tronic, Ecosplit, Ecomid), Mercedes-Benz (G231+, G281), Scania (GRS895, GRS905, GRSO905, G33) and Volvo gearboxes, also with retarder or intarder; in direct or offset versions.
Torque reserve for heavy-duty operation
The direct P81 units handle 800 Nm at a 1:1 ratio, and the P88Z6, reinforced for continuous operation, 450 Nm at 1:1.8, which also makes it suitable for driving compressors.
A pump for the task
Bi-rotational BPM and BLH gear pumps with 65–119 cm³ displacement, and FOX piston pumps with up to 450 bar continuous pressure (FOX 047/064).
Tank-mounted control block
The tipping valve sits on the side of the tank, with a fixed 190 or 250 bar or dual (175/250 bar) pressure setting; the two-section block also handles a ramp or winch alongside the tipper.
Lightweight aluminium oil tanks
Aluminium tanks from group company Padoan from 60 to 200 litres, also behind-cab and combined versions (220 l diesel / 170 l hydraulic oil); steel tanks from 100 to 300 litres for heavy-duty use.
Complete kit, one supplier
Hoses, fittings, swivel heads, quick couplings and cab levers in one kit, so nothing is missing during installation and later parts come from the same source.

What does a complete truck hydraulic system include?
Beyond the PTO, the PFS system kits contain everything needed for installation: an Interpump pump, an oil tank with tank-mounted control block or pressure relief valve, a cross member in front of the fifth wheel with swivel couplings, hoses, fittings, quick couplings and an in-cab control lever. The PTO kit is chosen to match the gearbox type.
Which gearboxes are Interpump PTOs available for?
The PFS range includes PTO kits for ZF (manual, automatic, with intarder, TraXon, AS-Tronic), Mercedes-Benz, Scania (GRS895, GRS905, GRSO905, G33) and Volvo gearboxes, in direct or offset (angle drive) versions.
Can one tractor unit pull both a tipper and a moving floor semi-trailer?
Yes, with a combi hydraulic system. The dual-pressure (175/250 bar) Interpump control block handles both operating modes, and the 125-litre pump delivers enough flow for both.
What hydraulics are needed to discharge a fuel tanker semi-trailer?
A weight-reduced dual-circuit system: the PFS kit contains a 60-litre aluminium oil tank, a 64-litre Interpump axial piston pump, a 150 bar 1″ pressure relief valve, 3/4″ hoses and quick couplings.
What is the difference between a gear pump and a piston pump?
The bi-rotational gear pump (BPM, BLH) is a simple, robust solution for tippers and moving floors with high delivery. The FOX axial piston pump delivers higher pressure in a smaller size (FOX 047 and 064 up to 450 bar continuous pressure), and the FOX LIGHT is built for up to 250 bar.
Do you also handle installation and service?
Yes. At the PFS site in Ercsi we install and repair hydraulic systems and PTOs in a 1,200 m² workshop hall equipped with 6.3 t overhead cranes, from a stock of around 5,000 parts.
