What sets the MEILLER tipper body apart
The manufacturer develops and builds the body, the tipping hydraulics and the controls in-house, so they are designed to work together.
In-house hydraulics, up to 320 bar
MEILLER develops and builds its tipping hydraulics itself in Munich; the system works at up to 320 bar, with steel-guided, gas-nitrided telescopic tipping cylinders.
High-strength steel, lower tare weight
The weight-reduced design of the TRIGENIUS family is made of high-strength steel, which improves both payload and wear resistance.
i.s.a.r.-control radio remote control
Radio control with joystick and display for the main and auxiliary functions of the body, with preselection buttons for automated sequences and a certified emergency stop; the operator can work from the position with the best view.
Low centre of gravity when tipping
The low centre of gravity of the GRANDLOAD tipping semi-trailer provides stability even while tipping, and the lower loading edge makes loading easier.
Corrosion protection
The TRIGENIUS subframe has a cut-out, particularly corrosion-resistant design; the TECTRUM TRAILER frame receives cathodic dip priming.
Also for electric chassis
MEILLER bodies also work on electric trucks from European manufacturers; with electric drive the pump only runs while tipping, so no energy is wasted.

What products does MEILLER make?
Munich-based MEILLER builds tipper bodies for trucks (TRIGENIUS three-way tipper, P and H series rear tippers, insulated asphalt bodies), tipping semi-trailers (GRANDLOAD) and centre-axle trailers (MZDA), hooklifts and skip loaders (TECTRUM, TECTRIS), as well as its own tipping hydraulics.
How long has MEILLER been in business?
The company was founded in Munich in 1850 and is still family-owned. It has built tipper vehicles since 1907 and presented the first hydraulic three-way tipper in 1924. According to the manufacturer, it employs around 2,000 people.
What loads are MEILLER tipper bodies available for?
According to the manufacturer, the TRIGENIUS three-way tipper is built for 2–28 t and the P and H series rear tippers for 30–50 t rated load. The payload actually achievable depends on the chassis and configuration.

Can a MEILLER body be fitted to an existing truck?
The manufacturer offers MEILLER bodies for standard truck chassis, the TRIGENIUS from two-axle to four-axle chassis. We check compatibility based on the chassis data and quote accordingly.
What is i.s.a.r.-control?
MEILLER’s radio remote control for its bodies: tipping and auxiliary functions are controlled with a joystick and display, automated sequences are started with preselection buttons, and it includes a certified emergency stop. It is available as an option for several models.
Are MEILLER hydraulics available separately?
Yes. MEILLER offers single- and dual-circuit hydraulic systems for tractor units operating tipping semi-trailers, as well as control valves, tanks, hose couplings and pumps. PFS’s own range of tipping hydraulics is also available.
