What do you need to transport?
The LAG portfolio starts from the product being transported: petrol, acid, chocolate and cement each need a different tank. Choose the task and we will show you the matching vehicle family.
Fuel and heating oil
Aluminium tank with 1–9 compartments, as a semi-trailer, drawbar trailer or truck body.

What sets LAG tanks apart
The tanks are built in the manufacturer’s own plant in Bree; the configuration (volume, compartments, piping, cabinet, heating) is tailored to the customer’s task.

Aluminium fuel tanks
The manufacturer built Europe’s first aluminium fuel tanker semi-trailer; the elliptical version offers a low centre of gravity and 1–9 compartments.
1.4404 stainless steel
ADR chemical tanks are made of grade 1.4404 stainless steel, insulated or non-insulated.
Insulation and heating
For bitumen: stainless steel heating elements and 100–150 mm PSI 250 glass wool; on chemical tanks the heating pipes run under the insulation.
Lightweight silo design
Tipping silos have a continuous aluminium chassis and tipping hinge; the non-tipping silo stays under 5 tonnes tare weight.
Custom compartments and discharge
Volume, compartments, baffles, piping, cabinet and pump matched to the product transported.

What vehicles does LAG Trailers build?
Belgian manufacturer LAG specialises in tank and intermodal vehicles: it builds aluminium fuel tanker semi-trailers, drawbar trailers and truck bodies, stainless steel tankers for chemicals, bitumen and food, and tipping and non-tipping silo semi-trailers. Its range also includes containers and container chassis.
Where are LAG vehicles built?
LAG Trailers has its headquarters and tank production in Bree, Belgium. The company was founded in 1947 by Lambert and Arnold Geusens and has been part of the CIMC Group since 2007.
Is an ADR version available?
Yes. The fuel tankers, chemical tankers and bitumen tankers are ADR versions, and the tipping silo is also available as a separate ADR version, with ADR-grade aluminium, protective brackets and ADR wiring.
What is the volume of LAG silo semi-trailers?
The tipping aluminium silo comes in nine sizes from 42 m³ to 65 m³. The non-tipping conical silo holds 36 or 39 m³, carrying approx. 27 or 31 tonnes of powder respectively.

Does PFS also supply discharge equipment?
Yes. PFS supplies discharge compressors for chemical liquids, liquid food, cement and powders, as well as hydraulic systems for fuel and gas transport, so the vehicle and the discharge system can be coordinated from a single source.
Are custom configurations available?
Yes. LAG tailors the volume, compartments, baffles, piping, cabinet, insulation and heating to the customer’s task. For this we need to know the product transported, the typical delivery size and the discharge method.
