FAQ

What to know before choosing

What steel is the LAG chemical tanker made of?

LAG’s ADR chemical tanks are made of grade 1.4404 stainless steel, insulated or non-insulated. The volume, compartments, piping and discharge cabinet are matched to the product transported.

Is a heated, insulated tank available?

Yes. On chemical tanks the heating pipes run on the inner tank under the insulation; on bitumen tankers, stainless steel heating elements and 100–150 mm PSI 250 glass wool insulation maintain the temperature.

What is the volume of the LAG bitumen tanker?

According to the manufacturer, the stainless steel version holds 32,000–34,000 litres and the version with a steel (H2) tank 30,000 litres.

What discharge system is recommended for food?

The LAG food-grade tanker is also available with a pump and heating system. Alongside the tanker, PFS also offers discharge compressors suitable for liquid food, so the entire discharge chain can be coordinated.
