GRANDLOAD®
With steel half-pipe body, 6.6–8.6 m long, 2 or 3 axles
MEILLER’s heavy-duty tipping semi-trailer for bulk materials: sand, gravel, stone, concrete elements. The low centre of gravity provides stability even when tipping, the lower loading edge makes loading easier and the low tare weight increases payload. The former MHPS 44/3N model has been sold as GRANDLOAD since 2024.

Three-way tipping trailer for use behind a truck
A payload-optimised centre-axle trailer for use behind a tipper truck. The medium series (MZDA18.22) is built for heavy material such as stone and concrete rubble, on road and off road; the light series (MZDA18.23) for sand, gravel and earth, for road use. Both are available with three body variants.

MEILLER hydraulics
Developed in-house in Munich, up to 320 bar operating pressure
The core of MEILLER tippers is the hydraulics developed and built by the manufacturer in Munich: steel-guided telescopic tipping cylinders with gas-nitrided running surfaces, stepless operation and self-cleaning, dirt-tolerant control valves. Single- and dual-circuit hydraulic systems for tractor units pulling tipping semi-trailers are also available.

What is the volume of the GRANDLOAD tipping semi-trailer?
According to the manufacturer, the nominal volume of the GRANDLOAD is 20–32 m³ with an external tailgate or 19–31 m³ with an internal tailgate, depending on the version. The body is 6.6–8.6 m long and the vehicle has 2 or 3 axles.
What is the difference between the MZDA18.22 and MZDA18.23 trailers?
The MZDA18.22 is the medium series: for heavy material such as stone and concrete rubble, on and off road. The MZDA18.23 is the light series: for sand, gravel and earth, for road use, and it also tips over the drawbar.
What hydraulics does a tractor unit need for a tipping semi-trailer?
