For rear and three-way tipping semi-trailers
A complete, ready-to-install single-circuit system for a tractor unit pulling a tipping semi-trailer: oil tank with tank-mounted Interpump control block, high-delivery pump, cross member in front of the fifth wheel with swivel coupling, hoses and in-cab tipping control. The pump size determines the tipping speed and the control block pressure setting follows the body.

Control blocks and tipping controls
Tipping, ramp, winch: precise pressure and flow
Mechanical tipping valve for a simple tipper, two-section control block for operating a tipper and machine transporter (ramp or winch) together, with separately adjustable pressure and flow. A pneumatic tipping control lever is fitted in the cab, on request with a built-in air switch to engage and disengage the PTO.

HS Penta 5F / 5C tipping cylinder
Five stages, for front tipping
A telescopic front tipping cylinder for tipper bodies and semi-trailers, with top eye (5F) or external cap (5C) mounting. Made by HS Penta, part of the Interpump Hydraulics group; when replacing, we supply it matched to the existing tank and control block.

What to know before choosing
What does a tractor unit need to pull a tipping semi-trailer?
A PTO on the gearbox with a hydraulic pump mounted on it, an oil tank with control block, a swivel coupling on the cross member in front of the fifth wheel towards the semi-trailer, hoses and an in-cab tipping control lever. The PFS tipping kit includes all of these; the PTO is chosen to match the gearbox type.
What pump size does a tipper need?
The tipping kit includes a 90 or 125 litre Interpump gear pump; higher delivery means faster tipping. An 84-litre piston pump is also available on request.
What is the advantage of a tank-mounted control block?
The control block sits on the side of the tank, so the system can be built more simply with fewer pipes. It is available with a fixed 190 or 250 bar or a dual pressure setting.
Can one control block operate a tipper and a ramp or winch?
Yes, the two-section Interpump control block is designed for operating a tipper and a machine transporter semi-trailer together: separate pressure and flow can be set for the two functions.
Which trucks do you install it on?
The PFS workshop has carried out tipping hydraulic installations on MAN, Scania and Volvo tractor units; the kit can be completed with a PTO for every gearbox type.
