Compact truck-mounted cranes: 40 and 60 t
40 and 60 t truck-mounted cranes for daily work with frequent site changes: the MTK 60 reaches a lifting height of 57.5 m with the jib, and the MTK 40 is the most compact model in the range.

Marchetti MTK 60
Highest lifting height in the range: 57.5 m
60 t truck-mounted crane with a five-section 40 m telescopic boom on a 4-axle chassis; with the jib it reaches a lifting height of 57.5 m, the highest in the range. The crane superstructure is driven by its own 129 kW engine, and the 6 t counterweight can be fitted from the cab. A remote control is available as an option.
| Max. lifting capacity | 60 t (at 2.5 m) |
|---|---|
| Max. load moment | 205 tm |
| Telescopic boom | 10.3–40 m, 5 sections |
| Max. lifting height | 43 m |
| With jib | 57.5 m (lattice jib 8 / 14.5 m, 0°/20°/40°) |
| Max. working radius | 36 m, 40 m with jib |
| Outrigger base (max.) | 7,1 × 7,35 m |
| Counterweight | 6 t (3 pieces), fitted from the cab |
| Chassis | 4-axle (8×4) truck |
| Superstructure drive | own engine, 129 kW |
Optional equipment (selection)
- lattice jib (8 / 14.5 m)
- remote control
Typical tasks: high-rise construction, façade and roof installation, daily crane work with frequent site changes.

Marchetti MTK 40
The most compact model, on a 3-axle chassis
40 t truck-mounted crane with a four-section 32 m telescopic boom on a 3-axle (6×4) chassis, for example a MAN TGM or Volvo FE. With the jib it reaches a lifting height of 49 m. The most agile model in the range, for urban and confined sites.
| Max. lifting capacity | 40 t (at 2 m) |
|---|---|
| Max. load moment | 107 tm |
| Telescopic boom | 10–32 m, 4 sections |
| Max. lifting height | 35 m |
| With jib | 49 m (lattice jib 8 / 14.5 m, 0°/20°/40°) |
| Max. working radius | 28 m, 40 m with jib |
| Outrigger base (max.) | 6,0 × 6,2 m |
| Counterweight | 5,3 t (1,5 + 3,8 t) |
| Chassis | 3-axle (6×4) truck |
Optional equipment (selection)
- lattice jib (8 / 14.5 m)
Typical tasks: urban construction, building services installation, precast elements and material handling with frequent site changes.
How heavy, and how high?
Based on the weight of your heaviest lift and the required height and working radius, we tell you which Marchetti model and which chassis suit the job.
What to know before choosing
Which lifts higher: the MTK 60 or the MTK 40?
With its 40 m telescopic boom the MTK 60 reaches 43 m, and 57.5 m with the jib; the MTK 40 reaches 35 m with its 32 m boom, and 49 m with the jib. The max. working radius with the jib is 40 m for both.
Which chassis are the compact models built on?
The MTK 40 is built on a 3-axle (6×4) chassis such as a MAN TGM or Volvo FE, the MTK 60 on a 4-axle (8×4) chassis. We define the configuration for Hungary in the quotation, based on axle loads.
Can it be operated by remote control?
The manufacturer offers a remote control for the MTK 60 as an option.
How much space do the outriggers need?
The maximum outrigger base is 6.0 × 6.2 m for the MTK 40 and 7.1 × 7.35 m for the MTK 60.
