Optional equipment (selection)
- lattice jib (6.9 / 12 m, 0°/20°/40°)
- 11 t counterweight (3 pieces)
- working area limiter (WAL) and carrier drive from the crane cab
Typical tasks: construction assembly, machinery moving, lifting roof structures and building services units, even on confined sites.

Marchetti MTK 1006
Seven-section 40 m boom, 55.5 m lifting height
80 t truck-mounted crane with a seven-section 40 m telescopic boom on a 4-axle chassis. The 80 t applies over the rear; the 360° capacity is 70 t. With the jib it reaches a lifting height of 55.5 m. Without counterweight the base machine weighs 32 t, so according to the manufacturer it can travel without a special permit; the self-installing counterweight is transported separately.
| Max. lifting capacity | 80 t over the rear (at 2.5 m); 70 t over 360° |
|---|---|
| Max. load moment | 210 tm |
| Telescopic boom | 7.7–40 m, 7 sections |
| Max. lifting height | 42,5 m |
| With jib | 55.5 m (lattice jib 7.1 / 13 m, 0°/20°/40°) |
| Max. working radius | 36 m, approx. 46 m with jib |
| Outrigger base (max.) | 7,1 × 6,4 m |
| Partial outrigger base | 4,75 × 4,2 m |
| Counterweight | 8 t (2 pieces), self-installing |
| Chassis | 4-axle (8×4) truck |
| Gross vehicle weight | 32 t (base machine, without counterweight) |
Optional equipment (selection)
- lattice jib (7.1 / 13 m, 0°/20°/40°)
Typical tasks: erecting tall buildings, hall structures and towers, where height and working radius matter more than maximum weight.
How heavy, and how high?
Based on the weight of your heaviest lift and the required height and working radius, we tell you which Marchetti model and which chassis suit the job.
What to know before choosing
Can a 100-tonne truck-mounted crane travel without a route permit?
Without counterweight, the base machines of the MTK 1005II, MTK 1006 and MTK 180L have a gross vehicle weight of 32 t; according to the manufacturer they can therefore travel on roads and motorways without a special permit, with the counterweight transported separately. In Hungary the maximum permissible gross weight of a 4-axle vehicle is also 32 t; in our quotation we verify the axle loads and dimensions for the specific chassis.
What is the difference between the MTK 1006 and the MTK 1005II?
The MTK 1005II lifts 100 t, with a 31.5 m boom, 46 m lifting height (with jib) and a max. working radius of 28 m; the MTK 1006 lifts 80 t (70 t over 360°) but has a 40 m boom, 55.5 m lifting height and a 36 m working radius. For heavier loads choose the 1005II; for greater height and radius, the 1006.
How is the counterweight fitted?
The counterweight is self-installing: the 8.4 t counterweight of the MTK 1005II, the 8 t of the MTK 1006 and the 15.9 t of the MTK 180L are lifted into place by hydraulic cylinders controlled from the crane cab, without an assist crane. On the road the counterweight is transported separately.
How much space do the outriggers need?
The maximum outrigger base is 7.1 × 6.4 m for the MTK 1005II and MTK 1006, and 7.6 × 7.0 m for the MTK 180L. The MTK 1005II and MTK 1006 can also work with a partial 4.75 × 4.2 m outrigger base, at reduced capacity.
Which chassis can it be mounted on?
The heavy-duty models are mounted on 4-axle (8×4) truck chassis; the manufacturer names IVECO, Volvo, Scania, MAN, Astra and Mercedes-Benz chassis. PFS recommends the chassis based on the service network available in Hungary and the applicable regulations.
